Global Parts Distributors became an ORG Partner Company in 2009 when we partnered with the GPD management team to acquire a majority interest in the Company. GPD is a national distributor of automotive aftermarket air-conditioner parts. We provided significant ownership to key management, introduced the company to its largest customer, relocated and upgraded the company’s largest facility (using that opportunity to optimize the facility lay-out and processes), invested in technology infrastructure with a new ERP system, and acquired a significant competitor with a complementary product line. ORG merged the Company with Omega Environmental Technologies in 2012 to create the second largest distributor of automotive aftermarket air-conditioner parts globally.

Gila became an ORG Partner Company in 2010 when we partnered with the Gila management team to acquire a majority interest in the accounts receivables management and business process outsourcing firm. We provided significant ownership to key management, relocated the company to a new, state-of-the-art facility, invested in a new cloud-based technology platform to better serve customers, and provided the financial support for management to diversify the company into new lines of business. Gila was sold to the Navient Corporation in 2014.
